Wears Valley Area Chamber of Commerce helps local Fire Department

Scott Street, President of The Wears Valley Area Chamber of Commerce recently presented Brandon Headrick of the Wears Valley Fire Department with a check for $4,869.00. The check was received by several Wears Valley Fire Department Members at a recent basketball game at the Wearwood Elementary School.

The money was raised for the Oktoberfest and the proceeds of parking were split with the Chamber and a few Wears Valley Organizations (FD and Wearwood Elementary). The Fire Departent has been instrumental in providing their services the past two years for the Oktoberfest parking.
